About Mestre Casquinha
After a ‘wild’ youth Mestre Casquinha started at the age of 12 with capoeira with Mestre Celío Tolentino. In the beginning of the 70’s he met Mestre Dalmo where he trained one year. Then he met Mestre Xita where he trained until 1977 (Mestre Xito stopped giving classes). In that year he met Mestre Travassos. In 1981 he became a Mestre Himself.t
